The S-Shaped Road - Jaguar
10

JAMVFX and Spark 44 have successfully created a sponsorship ident for Jaguar's involvement in Wimbledon this year. Their creative vision involved crafting a mesmerizing macro world on the surface of a tennis ball. The concept revolved around showcasing the new Jaguar I-Pace as it sped along a road surface through vibrant green fiber fields, carefully designed to possess a slightly hyper-real aesthetic. This deliberate choice aimed to leave the viewers questioning the location of the action, adding an intriguing element to the ident.

The ident's climax came in the final shot, where the tennis ball dramatically descended through the frame, unveiling the Jaguar logo and the end frame. This reveal provided a captivating moment, solidifying the ident's impact and leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Overall, the sponsorship ident created is an impressive fusion of creativity and technical execution. By leveraging the concept of a macro world on a tennis ball, they successfully captured attention and effectively associated Jaguar with the prestigious event of Wimbledon.

My role with this project was as Studio creative director and lead compositor. I worked very closely with Spark 44 and their creative team steering the in house 3D studio team at JAM in the right direction. I prepared initial style frames and boards through to the finished sequence.
